February 12, 2023 / ALEXANDRIA, VA -The National Credit Union Foundation (Foundation) and VIDA STYLE launch “Re-Gowned To Give,” an initiative that invites the guests of the Foundation Dinner Presenting the Herb Wegner Memorial Awards to consign the gowns they wear at the dinner and donate the proceeds from the sales to support the Foundation’s work to improve people’s financial lives.
VIDA STYLE is owned and operated by veteran credit union industry executive, Alicia Valencia Erb, and is committed to a sustainable economy in which clothing is reused to eliminate waste and pollution.
“I am thrilled to partner with the Foundation to raise funds to improve people’s financial lives through credit unions” said Alicia Valencia Erb. “Post COVID, consumers have a desire to make their limited dollars go further and to reduce their carbon footprints. And our collaboration permits them to do both.”
“At the heart of the Foundation’s work is to give back. The collaboration with VIDA STYLE supports a give-back program where our industry can collectively and financially give back and support our mission to serve others, said National Credit Union Foundation Executive Director Gigi Hyland.
For more information about the give-back program, contact Alicia Valencia Erb at (571) 357-1186 or at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.vidastyleshop.com
