How does consignment or selling my items with VIDA STYLE Shop work?
Q: What items do you accept?
A: We love "different & delightful" women's and men's wear clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories that make hearts flutter. We love high-quality fibers that are sustainable, meaning they will last a very long time over repeated wash and wear. We love Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Veronica Beard, J. Crew, Loro Piana, Johnny Was, etc., and also non-mainstream luxury labels, such as Kiton Napoli, Amina Rubinacci, Acne Studios, Jil Sander, etc.

Q: When can I bring in my items for review?
A: Walk-ins are welcome Monday - Friday and Sunday 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Sundays require an appointment slot. Call us at 571-357-1186 or send us a direct message on Instagram to book a Sunday slot. We are closed on Saturday in observance of our Sabbath.
Q: How many items can I bring?
A: It’s unlimited, but if you have more than 10 pieces, call ahead or DM us on Instagram. (Hangers are okay.)
Q: What happens after I leave my items with you?
A: You will receive a “welcome” email with a link to create your account using our consignor login portal. If you do not receive that email (check your spam folder), once you get your itemized price list via PDF, you can log in using your email address for both your email address and email address and password. Please allow between 7 and 14 business days for us to process your items. During peak times, expect a longer processing time. Expect an itemized list of your consignments to be sent from hello@vidastyleshop.com . Please check your spam folder for our first email.
Q: How long is the selling period?
A: Two months. If you choose to withdraw your items earlier, we assess a $20 early withdrawal fee per item.
Q: How do I check my sales?
A: Log in to your account on our Consignor's Login portal to track your sales and balance. You will see your sold-only items and any balance due to you. Location: Consign With Us Tab > Consignor Login
Q: How do I request a payout?
A: All payout requests must be made using the “Request a Payout” form found online under the "Consign With Us" tab. Verified payouts are made via Venmo, PayPal, or check within 12 days of submission. Requests made via DM, text, email, or over the phone will not be honored. Cash payouts under $30 can be made in-store once per month. Location: Consign With Us > Request a Payout
Q: Are my items returned to me if they don’t sell?
A: Only luxury or designer items are returned. All other unsold items are donated to our $10 Teachers’ Rack. Anyone can shop the Teachers’ Rack. Proceeds from those sales support giveaways to local DMV teachers.
Q: How do I request a pickup of my unsold luxury/designer consignments?
A: All pickup requests must be made using the “Request a Pickup of Expired Consignments" form found on our website. We do not send reminders to pick up your unsold items. Pickup requests received via DMs, emails, text messages, or phone calls will not be honored. We will respond to you within five business days of receiving your request with a pick-up date. Q: What happens if I don’t pick up my items by my pickup date?
We give you five days to pick up your items after you receive our pickup notification. If you miss your pickup time, your items are considered abandoned and are donated to our $10 Rack.
Q: Where do you donate your clothes?
A: We use our Teachers’ Rack to sell unsold, expired, and abandoned items ore we donate to Martha’s Table.
Q: What is the Teachers’ Rack?
A: We created the Teachers’ Rack to sell donated or abandoned items. All items are $10. Cash or Venmo only. We use sales proceeds for giveaways to local DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) teachers as a way to give back to our community.
Q: Do I get a discount when I shop at VIDA STYLE?
A: If you have a shop balance, you get a 10% discount on your purchase.
Q: Will you post my items on your online shop?
A: We post luxury, designer, blogger/cult favorites, and some vintage or unique items online.
