Social Media Assistant

DUTIES:

• Per the shop manager’s direction, generate social media content using Instagram  
• Generate social media content to meet the shop's daily goal for IG stories, as directed. 
• Generate social media content for IG reels, TikTok videos, Facebook, as directed, such as videos for reels, etc.
• Offer your creative ideas to create fresh and trending social media content that is on-brand.
• Greet all customers who enter the shop.
• Create a comfortable guest experience by helping shoppers with their bags, personal effects, for hands-free shopping.
• Provide an easy guest experience by taking try-on items for shoppers into their dressing room.
• Conduct credit card and cash sales transactions at the register using a POS terminal and credit card processor.
• Familiarize yourself with shop's inventory.
• Conduct floor recovery by returning inventory to the sales floor, ensuring fitting rooms are clean at all times, ensuring racks are neat and organized. 
• Support the shop manager with processing consignment and in-take, as needed.
• Support the store manager or assistant manager with opening and closing procedures.
• Support team members with their respective duties, as needed. 
• For special store events, support the team by ensuring an incredible experience for guests. 
• Help give our guests a lovely shopping experience by being friendly and outgoing.  

SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to listen and respond to guest’s needs. 
• Strong social media skills using Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Be proactive and anticipate guests’ needs. 
• Natural curiosity about the consignment/fashion industry.
• Attention to detail.
• Success driven.
• Basic math skills for sales transactions. Math skills may be tested.
• Excellent people and soft skills, such as being friendly, engaging, caring, and kind to all guests and teammates. 
• Good image and demeanor, with an eye for making lovely and fun fashionable statements.
• Discretion and confidentiality are required. If you are offered a position, you will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
